Analytical method development


We develop, optimize and validate innovative methods for the characterization of microcapsules and microparticles regarding:

  • Strength
  • Permeability
  • Release behavior


Examples of method development for the analysis of disperse systems are:

  • Determination of droplet density and disperse phase content in stable double emulsions

  • Automatic determination of Hansen dispersibility parameters of nanoparticles by instrumental quantification of sedimentation behavior
